BUENA PARK, California, October 1, 2026 – Dandelion Payments, a Euronet Worldwide, Inc. (NASDAQ: EEFT) company and the global real-time, cross-border payments network, today announced a collaboration with Absa, one of Africa's largest diversified financial services providers, to extend Absa's cross-border payment capabilities for its retail and corporate customers through its affiliates in South Africa and across the continent. The alliance represents a significant step in Dandelion's continued expansion across Africa and reinforces both brands' focus on delivering faster and more transparent cross-border payments.

Through the partnership, Absa will be able to use Dandelion's global payments network to enable international payouts to bank accounts, cash pickup locations, and mobile wallets in 200 countries and 124 currencies, helping expand access to fast and reliable cross-border services. The service is expected to launch in 2027, marking the next phase of the collaboration between Dandelion and Absa to support evolving international payment needs.

As demand for international payments continues to grow, Africa's cross-border payments market is expected to surpass US$1 trillion by 2035. This highlights the significant opportunity for financial institutions to increase their connectivity and meet growing demand for efficient solutions across different corridors.

"Absa's extensive African footprint and trusted customer relationships, combined with Dandelion's global payments network, create a powerful partnership that enables real-time cross-border payments for businesses and consumers wanting to send money across Africa and around the world," said Stanley Wachs, Head of Western Europe & Africa, Dandelion Payments. "This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to deliver greater connectivity and choice through reliable payment experiences."

For financial institutions, the ability to offer efficient international payment services has become an important market differentiator. Dandelion and Absa's partnership addresses the demand for broader access to global payments infrastructure.
