Recently, our Dandelion team attended Sibos, the global financial services networking event, that took place in Frankfurt, Germany this year. There, we were able to connect with many executives from the industry and explain how Dandelion could be the answer to a lot of the current challenges financial institutions are facing today. We also got to meet up with partners like Citi and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA).
For four days, 12,500 participants, 500 speakers and 200 exhibitors gathered to explore "The next frontiers of global finance", and Dandelion was right at the heart of it, at stand C068. There, we met many participants and held meetings with key actors of the industry. It was the perfect occasion to showcase our services and explain how we are helping banks, fintechs and licensed financial institutions reach new markets and improve customer experience.
Our Dandelion team at Sibos 2025 included Juan Bianchi, EVP & CEO of Euronet's Money Transfer segment and Dandelion Managing Director Daniel Canning, as well as a wealth of regional and functional representatives from across the organization.
Sibos 2025 is also where we made our collaboration with Citi official. Juan Bianchi, EVP & CEO of Euronet's Money Transfer segment and Emanuela Saccarola, Citi's Head of Cross Border Payments sealed the deal during the second day of the event.
With this collaboration, Dandelion and Citi are working to enable near-instant, full-value cross-border payments directly into digital wallets across the globe, leveraging Citi’s WorldLink® Payment Services and Dandelion’s extensive digital wallet network. Together, we aim to provide businesses with a streamlined and secure pathway to disburse funds into mobile wallets across rapidly growing digital economies.
As Citi highlighted in their recent insight piece "Beyond the Transaction: How Banks Can Leverage Innovation Effectively", “[...] the payments space – once a commodity – offers ample room for differentiation.” This vision perfectly resonates with Dandelion’s mission to help financial institutions go beyond traditional infrastructure and unlock new value in cross-border payments.
During Sibos 2025, our Dandelion team also got to meet with our new partners Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
Recently, Dandelion entered a strategic agreement with CBA to bring its global network to the 18+ million customers of one of Australia's leading banking services. This integration will deliver an expanded global reach, seamless international transfers, real-time payment tracking, instant payouts to many jurisdictions, improved customer experiences and robust compliance and security. Together, we are making it easier, faster, and safer to send money around the world.
Sibos 2025 was four days of captivating talks, bringing to the forefront important topics in finance such as the digital evolution of payments and increasing financial access. Our Dandelion team had a great time and enjoyed meaningful conversations with many attendees, both during meetings and at our stand.
We are excited to continue helping fintechs, banks and other financial institutions reach new heights.
